Andrew Griffin, taken at his home beach, on what is a rarely working shore break. If I remember correctly myself and Ben Selway double shot this,. Griffter was ripping, only having recently recovered rom a broken back.

Always makes me laugh this shot, looks absolutely perfect, with a dry hair paddle out, and hosing right-handers at North Fistral. The reality is there were 10 foot plus death sets closing out the whole beach every 30 minutes, so it was not a place to be.

Back in the early naughties, Ian Battrick warms up on a wet slab somewhere in North Cornwall, John Eldridge beyond readies his water housing. Would end up being part of a profile section on Coast Video Magazine.

A crummy little day at 'Leven, just two guys in, Tyson Greenaway and Jayce Robinson, both were ripping, both knew how to attack a lip right in front of me, this shot of Jayce is my favourite.

Rarely do we get waves like this in Cornwall, this day was pretty heavy for our neck of the woods. Micah Lester was up for giving it a go though, he landed this drop, then went straight through his board.

Reaubyn Ash, at his home break. I used to live just down the road from here, I'd arrange to meet the Ash bros on every swell, Joss was always on time, Reubs would turn up when he was ready. Always worth the wait though.

Classic day this, best beach break bazzas I have ever seen in Cornwall, and Aussie Toby Atkins nailed the best one. Next wave he broke his board.

It doesn't get much better than this in Cornwall, cranking 'Leven with Skindog and friend splitting the peak.

Oli Adams, the keenest surfer in the UK bar none, shacked on the south coast.

This is taken the same day as the earlier Fistral lineup, so you can see the size issue that day. South African Chris Bertish paddled out alone, and pulled into a couple of monsters. He was joined by a long boarder half way through, who he then had to rescue.

I'll run this whole sequence in the mag soon, Skindog is in this right-hander, and he made it, best Levie I have ever seen.
