12 shots of coldwater commitment from Photographer Tim Nunn

This was actually pretty dodgy. This beach in Iceland gets good and is worth surfing, but most people go there oon small swells and in good weather. This was early January, the air temp was well below freezing, there was a freezing fog, and tonnes of Ice in the lineup, didn't stop Batty though, he wanted to test the new Lunasurf 6/4 wet tie he had designed, crazy Bastard. To get the shot, I'm fully clothed, standing on a berg, no housing, getting smashed by waves.
