After Hurricane Gita Came An All Time Swell At Shipstern Bluff

The aftermath of Gita saw a crazy tow session go down at everyone's favourite Tassie monster.

Towing-in is not at all in-vogue at the mo, but there are some waves at some sizes that don’t leave surfers with a whole lot of choice.

After Hurricane Gita landed on the east coast, Shipstern Bluff was battered by an equally beefy south swell, and the only sensible choice for the hardened crew of chargers of showed up to greet her was to get behind the rope.

Surprisingly enough the clip does not contain the usual big step to face plant footage we’ve become so accustomed to from the Bluff, but instead some super make-able growly looking tubes. Enjoy:
