Here’s a crazy one from the archives, featuring some of the best barrels ever ridden at Burleigh Point.

Lifted from Australian Surfing Life’s 2006 film ‘Hot 100 – 3 Amigos’, it features a whole host of names, both very well known, and less so, racking up a ridiculous amount of tube time through Burleigh’s thick lipped freight trains.

Sure, they’re towing, which is very much frowned upon now, but don’t judge them too harshly, it was shot in 2005 after all, when tow-ins and even tow-ats were still on the cutting edge of surfings progression.
