The Billabong Pro Tahiti- Final day highlights

The final day of the Billabong Pro Tahiti was called one of the best days ever of competition surfing ever by both Occy and Slater and we agree.

With an abundance of near perfect heats, buzzer beaters and even a full tie in what many called the best heat of the year, it really was a day of competition with all the bells and whistles. Eventually it was Gabriel Medina who took the win, securing an extremely convincing finals win over Kelly Slater, putting him firmly in the drivers seat for the world title coming into the last 4 events of the year.
