Like most watches used by surfers, this one is tough, dependable and water resistant, but also is equipped with Swiss superluminova lume on the hands and dial numbers that results in a long-lasting glow for reading time in the dark.
The watch was designed by Barry Cohen, founder of Time Concepts, in collaboration with legendary big wave surfer, Shane Dorian.
The series features a brushed 316L stainless steel case, with screw in crown and case back, along with a hardened K1 crystal to resist scratching that ensures 200 meters of water resistance, and a tight unidirectional dive-timing bezel, plus a genuine rubber strap designed for water activities featuring a hole pattern for ventilation and to disperse water quickly. The strap also has on/off fingernail pull spring pins so a strap change is easy and quick.
