Chippa Wilson & Pete Devries Shredding In Canada

B-roll from Ben Gulliver's 'The Seawolf'

Luke Gartside

4th January 2018

In a world where quality is king, some truely excellent surfing material can end up consigned to the cutting room floor.

Often, when such material is released online, it’s unclear to many why it didn’t make the grade. Perhaps the pan wasn’t as smooth as it could have been, or the light wasn’t quite up to scratch or maybe it’s just that the film makers hard drive was overflowing with quality. Whatever the reason, when you’ve got surfers as good as Chippa Wilson and Pete Devries, in a land as beautiful as Canada, even the b-roll is well worth a watch.

Captured during a filming mission for his much acclaimed ‘The Seawolf’ here’s a little two minute treat from Ben Gulliver for you all to enjoy. If you fancy seeing the a-grade bangers that forced these clips onto the cutting room floor, join us for our Exeter screening of the Seawolf on Jan 23rd. We’ve still got a few tickets left, grab them here!
