According to Mini Blanchard, Dane’s long time friend and loyal filmer, Dane is currently being held in jail in Portugal and ‘treated like a criminal’.

Blanchard posted the announcement about an hour ago on his instagram stating that:

“Dane Reynolds is currently being held captive and treated like a criminal at the Lisbon, Portugal International Airport Jail, yes, Jail ! All because he lost his passport ! He’s been there for two days now. They took his phone, backpack, even his shoelaces WTF ! And to top it off, the US Embassy is doing very little to help him. #freedane @usembassyportugal@usembassy“

“It turns out the Portuguese border security aren’t too bothered about who you are, if you’ve lost your passport when you rock up to border security, you’re going in the pen.”

“Hope you get home safe and sound soon Dane and those Portugeezers aren’t too rough with you.”
