Ditch the Rubber and Surf Like it’s Summer

Does your winter wetsuit cramp your style? Does 5mm of neoprene make you feel more Frogman than Fanning?

Don’t worry, thanks to Dutch all round crazy man Wim Hof you too can master the techniques that have baffled scientists the world over and earned him the much-deserved moniker of The Iceman.

Wim’s cold-loving crush first came to light back in 2007 when he broke the record for the longest ice bath. Since then Wim has been smashing cold feats across the globe and he currently holds 20 world records all associated with sub-zero ring-stinging.

He has climbed Mount Everest in nothing more than a pair of shorts, taken on Kilimanjaro in a similar vein and run a marathon in the Namibian Desert without water.

So how can Wim help us achieve such feats? Meditation is the answer. He is no freak of nature he claims and anyone can learn his skills.

To demonstrate this, Wim took Matt Shea and Daisy-May Hudson from Vice on an adventure that would see them climbing a freezing cold mountain in just their shorts without them suffering from the cold.

But what Matt and Daisy didn’t know, was that the so-called Iceman was intent on leading them on a psychedelic journey that would blur the lines of science and spirituality.
