When most CT’ers drop a web clip, our first reaction is ‘Woah, imagine how well they’d do on tour if they surfed like that in all their heats (eg this banger of Ryan Callinan) however, it doesn’t seem to apply to the Brazilian storm.

Both Gabby and Felipe rarely put out free surfing clips, but when they do the most striking thing about them is the fact some of the best clips included are shot during a heat. I mean, don’t get me wrong, there are some absolute bangers in here sans-singlet, like alley-oop to air reverse combo at the 30 second mark, or the mental boned out slob straight after it, but the tail high backside reverse from the Hurley Pro and that mental full rotor at 2.15 are definitely right up there.
