Wavelength Surf Magazine – since 1981

GALLERY: Heavy Water- Bristol Premiere

Last night our Heavy Water UK tour bowled into Bristol for another classic evening of surf cinema.

The setting was the illustrious Everyman cinema, a 1920s building that started life as a picture house, complete with ballroom, billiard room and restaurant and nowadays boasts a series of big screens, set in front of plush armchair lined auditoriums.

Warm summers air wafted in as Bristol’s biggest surf fans mingled in the foyer and sampled the fruits of the Everyman’s well-stocked bar.

We love giving inland surf communities a good excuse to get together, shoot the breeze, make plans and re-connect with wave riding through the medium of premium surf cinema and we hope, as always, that everyone in attendance had as much fun as we did.

One lucky couple walked away with a free stay in Sri Lanka, courtesy of Ticket To Ride, while other raffle winners snagged a pair of Vans, a Nixon watch, an £100Freeze Pro Shop voucher and a Wavelength subscription.

Heavy Water continues its tour around the UK next week- grab the last remaining tickets for and EdinburghNewquay, Newcastle and Brighton at the links.
