Or are you pretty non plussed about the Brit Summer, the flattest spell of the year, the beaches are all packed, and a time of year can that become all about listening to a constant grumble about the weather system, and how the Summers just aren’t as hot as they used to be.

Well, it’s not flat all over the globe. It’s at this time of year that the South African trade winds blow off shore, and their coastline becomes generously littered with consistent long range swells. The sun shines a bit too. Ticket to Ride run an awesome road trip which goes from Cape Town through Jeffreys Bay, and up to Durban. A sure bet for world class un crowded waves! Coupled with the fact that the trip is led by two formed WQS and WCT surfers, and includes tuition from the gold medal winning South African team coach, it’s a pretty life changing experience!
