Hawaiian Groms On Logs Loving Life It Waikiki

Serving as a surf retreat for Hawaiian royalty in the 1800’s, before becoming home to Hawaii’s first ever surf club at the begining of the 20th century, Waikiki is well known as a key location in the history of surfing.

Now, the beachside resort is renowned for its mass of hotels, slow log friendly peelers and incredibly busy line up. Still, for those who grew up in the area, the mass of ever present humans in the line-up don’t act as a deterrent for getting out there, even when it’s tiny, sharing waves, hanging heels and having an absolute blast.

I think we could all learn a little something from the groms of Waikiki…
