Heavy Aussie Slabs With Dave Delroy-Carr

You may never heard of long time barrel hunter and West Aus native Dave Delroy-Carr. The man has dedicated his life to searching out cylindrical wave forms for him to slot himself into and by the looks of this clip he’s done a pretty damn fine job of finding a few.

Dave works as a lifeguard and did water safety at the Magret River CT, but was lucky enough to have no commitments over the winter months this year, which he claims ‘certainly had its perks’ and we wouldn’t disagree. He used the time to hook up with filmers Tom Jennings, Isaac Jones and James Stricko and capture some of the winter swells, before handing over to Todd Delfs to stitch all the footage together. And here’s the resulting clip, in all its unpretentious glory, it’s just a man who loves to get barrelled doing exactly that:
