How To Road Trip A new Cornish Surf Film by Sam Glazebrook

Luke Gartside

27th June 2015

Last night saw the premiere of Samuel Glazebrook’s new film ‘How to Road Trip’, held at Strong Adolfo’s Cafe, just outside Wadebridge.

With a live band and plenty of beer, the event provided a deserved sense of occasion for the films release, which is often passed up for clips destined for the web.

The film explores a faction of British surfing not so often covered in the mainstream surf media, with creativity, a variety of crafts and a celebration of the nuances of classically inspired surf style at its core. Featuring the likes of Mike Lay, James Parry, John Elderidge and Jack Whitefield the surfing is bouncy and fun, with Glazebrook’s cinematography creating a perpetually joyful aesthetic to match.

In case the abundance of good weather and waves we’ve been having down in Cornwall recently hasn’t got you in the mood for summer, we reckon this film should do the trick.
