Incredible Drone Footage From Around Europe

The team at Atlantic Drones look like they’ve had a busy year, sending their drones up to capture the best surfing action going down along Europe’s Atlantic coast.

Featuring some of the best sessions to go down so far in 2017, as well as some shots from last year, the clip features a host of European and international surfing talent. There’s clips from an a solid sunny Nazare session in December, featuring an amazing ride from Gabriel Villaran. ‘He showed incredible skills and bravado under pressure’ commented Atlantic drones of the Peruvian chargers standout performance on the day.

There’s also footage from the giant, but much less perfect day in the first week of Match at The Portuguese behemoth. “It was pretty raw and dangerous” said the film makers of the session. “Witnessing those fearless chargers taking up the challenge and riding some unreal mutant waves was an incredible experience.Among those gladiators, Lucas Chumbo, at was definitely one of the standouts with his surfing/snowboarding skills”.

There’s also some friendlier looking sessions, including a few around Hossegor, featuring local ripper PV Laborde (including two screamers at the 1.02 mark) and a quick cameo from world Champ John John Florence during his visit in October last year:
