As the dust started to settle on John’s heroic second world title victory, Hurley dropped this clip, featuring JJF’s free surfing highlights from the year.

Although we were deprived of Twelve this year, Eric Knutson of Parallel Sea Productions accompanied John around the world and it looks like the champ still managed to squeeze in a few high calibre free surfs in between his victories in the contest vest.

However, he did tell us in an interview back in October that he hadn’t really been focussed on getting clips this year, as he just wanted to put all his effort into competing. So remember that when you’re watching this edit. This is John, not trying to get clips.
