The Quest for Quality

The dictionary definition of quality is defined as: “The standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something.”

Yet we all have our own definitions of what quality means. It could simply be a day surfing with your mates; surfing with your kids; that one special wave. We took to the road with Korev Lager for a couple of days of the finer things in life, a spot on swell, perfect offshores, and a road trip with a bunch of good people.

For surfers, the quest for quality is eternal. We are always in search of quality waves, a quality session; sat in the line up having quality time with our friends. It could simply be time spent at a quality beach of which Cornwall, like many counties in this wonderful country of ours, has in abundance. But we’re all in search of our own version on quality.

In the new issue of Wavelength, Sam Lamiroy goes on a quest for quality around Cornwall on both the north and south coast of the county in search of those defining quality moments. Special times shared with close friends, cheering on each other’s waves and then a quality wind down with a few beers reminiscing about the session just shared. Magic moments that define quality.
