WATCH: The Lost Track New Zealand With Torren Martyn

Luke Gartside

7th September 2020

Last weekend we rounded out our summer series with an evening of surf films at the Wavelength Drive-In.

Heading up the bill was The Lost Track New Zealand presented by needessentials, a new film following Torren Martyn and Ishka Folkwell on a four-month trip traversing the land of the long white cloud on a pair of Royal Enfield bikes.

Several years in the making, the film serves as a follow up to the Lost Track Australia, released way back in 2016, and features the same blend of timeless surfing and raw moments from the road.

Captured exclusively by Ishka, on gear that fits inside a motorbike saddlebag, it sits as an authentic account of the experience, complete with all the down days and downpours, as well as the golden moments where it all comes together.

And, as with all of the pair’s films (seriously, do they ever not score?), there are plenty of days of beautiful, uncrowded waves, expertly tackled with signature twin-finned mastery.
