Marc Lacomare Finds Perfection In Ireland

Marc Lacomare & Tikanui Smith find thick lipped perfection in The Emerald Isle

Last week the first of what we promised to be many epic winter edits from Ireland graced our screens and now, Frenchman and serial QS grinder has just dropped a brand new clip featuring  a thick lipped beast somewhere in the Emerald Isle.

“Competing on the world qualifying series could be frustrating when the surfing conditions are below average.” said Marc, echoing an often expressed sentiment by those who spend much of their working lives on the QS grind. Accordingly when he saw this chart pop up, he jumped at the chance to head over and score some cold perfection with good mate Tikanui Smith.

A trip to Ireland is always a risk, as charts change daily and un-forecast wind can often ruin what would otherwise be an epic day of waves. However this clip shows what happens when everything comes together, and you find yourself pulling into a keg that leaves no doubt as to why Ireland has been dubbed the cold water Indo.
