Matt Meola – The Best Aerialist In The World Right Now A brand new edit from Matt Meola

Luke Gartside

26th April 2017

Here’s a brand new edit featuring Matt Meola pulling some absolutely incredible stuff above the lip in his native Maui.

Ever since Meola burst into the international concious with his Innersection in 2011 the young Hawaiian  rate of progression has been unreal, continually placing himself at the leading edge of those pushing the progression of aerial surfing. Whether your most impressed by physics defying laybacks, massive spins on bone shatteringly big sections, or flips, this edit’s got ’em all, presenting a pretty convincing argument that Meola is the best in the world right now above the lip.

As the final cherry on top, the clip wraps with Meola by joining the 720 club, with the first one we’ve seen that leaves little doubt there are more rotations yet to come. Stay tuned.
