Blanco spent most of last winter in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, but before going away he still managed to score some quality time at home. “Birds” was filmed during the cold Portuguese Winter and features some of Blanco’s favourite spots around the beautiful West Coast, including Cascais, Cave in Ericeira, Supertubos and Nazaré.

Miguel Blanco at just 21 years old is one of Portugal’s most respected Surfers right now, a rising star in both progressive surfing, heavy slabs and big wave. Already with 4 Hawaiian Seasons and trips all over the world under his belt, Miguel is making a name for himself and represents the future of Portuguese surfing. Competitively, Miguel has also stacked some good results, landing a 2nd place on the WQS Zarautz 2016, winning the European Volcom 2016 and the Caparica Primavera Surf Fest back in 2015.
