WATCH: A Once A Year Novelty Waves Under A Lisbon Train Track

As the biggest storm of the year hammered the Portuguese coast, João Kopke and Tomás Valente went off in search of novelty waves in strange locations.

They headed for down-town Lisbon, where they happened upon a strange little wave breaking upstream, through a narrow gap between a bridge and a river bank, past a sewer pipe. After getting their fill of one foot wide straight handers, the boys made their way to the mouth of the river, where more wobbly river waves could be found, passing under a train track.
