Our Favourite Drone Clips Ever- No.5 Noosa From Above

Luke Gartside

6th July 2016

In the past few years aerial footage has become a common fixture in surfing clips thanks to massive advancements in drone tech, and now we get to see the worlds best waves from an angle previously only enjoyed by the exotic birds (and sea gulls) that fly above them. Over the next 5 days we’ll be bringing you our 5 favourite clips shot from a drone.

In at number 5 is dreamy little number featuring the local logging crew having an absolute blast on some long clean peelers at Noosa. As well as being the perfect angle to display fancy footwork in all it’s idiosyncratic glory, more than anything it makes us want to be there, sliding down the point, and that’s really the main point of any surf clip isn’t it.:
