Paddle Round the Pier 2015

One for your diary is the annual Paddle Round The Pier Beach Festival taking place in Brighton on July 4th & 5th. Its free entry and packed full of your favourite brands, bands, bars and cool cars!

“Paddle” as the event is affectionately known is said to be the world’s biggest free charity beach festival and with over 55,000 people attending last year, who are we to argue! The weekend contains a myriad of events for everyone, some fun and a few tough ones- this is one of those in between so well worth a look;
Think you’re the fastest at Paddling?!

Challenge your friends and you could WIN A WEEKS SURF & YOGA HOLIDAY  FOR TWO WITH JAM INDUSTRIES AND ERRANT SURF HOLIDAYS.

The contest is simple: Paddle a longboard from Brighton’s Palace Pier to Brighton’s derelict West Pier to be crowned the 2015 Pier2Pier champion! Not only will you win the Surf & Yoga Trip for two but your name will be added the famous “Golden Flip Flop” trophy. This sought after award is already adorned with such names as Elliot Dudley, Ben Skinner, Andrew Cotton and Nick Thorn (who currently holds the record of 19mins).

What better way to settle the argument between friends about who is the strongest at paddling than to race for charity! It’s a short distance of just under 2 miles so it’s a relatively simple race. The board has to be a recognizable longboard surfboard (no Paddle boards) and must measure between 9’ and 10’6” and be no thicker than 4”

Grab your longboard, paddle hard and you could win:

First Prize: Surf & Yoga trip to Spain
Second Prize: Alder Wetsuit
Third Prize: One years Subscription to Wavelength Magazine.
