Reubyn Ash Signs For Xcel Wetsuits

Reubyn Ash, who has been bagging UK comp results and dropping banging edits while riding unsponsored for several years, has finally been snapped up by premium wetsuit brand Xcel.

Hailing from Bude, in North Cornwall, Reubyn was in the ocean learning his trade from as young as four. During his formative years he established himself as a formidable competitive surfer, however at 18 he decided to take a different direction, setting his sights on filming video sections across the globe, scoring numerous accolades, including a part in Taylor Steele’s Innersection. Reubyn has received recognition internationally for his level of surfing prowess, particularly in the air and is widely regarded as the UK’s best free surfer.

With this much surfing experience through cold British winters, especially in recent years, Reubyn is well aware of the importance of a decent wetsuit.

“I am stoked to join the Xcel team! Having tested the suits for a while now I can appreciate the great quality and am blown away by the warmth and comfort I get in the water”

Reubyn Ash joins the likes of Albee Layer and Noa Deane to represent Xcel wetsuits worldwide.
