There’s just something about the mixture of pumping waves, beautiful surroundings and the simple living that gives it an irresistible allure to those looking to escape our perpetually damp shores over the winter months. 

“What happens in Lakey Peak is pretty simple..” explains Rhys, who’s just dropped an edit from this winters stint. “Your inner gromhood takes over. You come in after the sun and 3+ surfs in what would pretty much be always deemed as perfection from any keen brit surfer, not being able to lift up ya arms and struggling to wolf down a huge portion of Nasi shortly followed by hitting the pillow hard. Or maybe a bintang just before if ya scored extra hard! Then ya just simply repeat the process.”
