‘Shorebreak’ -A Brand New Documentary About Clark Little

Clark Little first got into shore break photography when his wife came home with a photo of the Waimea shore break she had bought from the supermarket and he looked at it and realised he could shoot a better one. Since then he has worked his way up to become one of the most talented water photographers on the planet, with a huge international following, his own gallery and a photo in the white house.

One of the most incredible things about Little’s work is how its appeal totally transcends that of regular surf photography and this universal appeal is undoubtedly part of the reason renowned surf photographer Peter King decided to make a documentary about Little.

Entitled ‘Shorebreak’- the film documents Little’s day to day life, taking on some of the most dangerous shorebreaks in the world around his home on Oahu. And when he’s not in the water, Clark shares the insider tips and techniques that have taken his photos from his living room wall to inside the Smithsonian. The film has already received great acclaim, receiving official selections at five international film festivals. and winning the audience award at the 2016 Maui Film Festival.

The film has been premiering around the world recently, culminating with a Hawaii’n premiere, which Clark said was his favourite: “To have the premier at home and have family, friends, and hundreds and hundreds of other people show up, man, it was awesome.”
