Surfing England and Korev Lager, the official beer of surfers and coastal adventurers, presents the Korev Winter of Waves. This online surf contest designed to bring together surfers and filmers from around the country throughout the winter months. The event is for English surfers to showcase their skills while embodying the adventurous spirit of the Korev brand.
This contest won’t be judged like our typical surf contests. Our Judges will be looking at 3 main criteria: Commitment, Creativity and Style. Our judges will narrow the entries down to the top clips. Our audience will then vote
for their favourite clips online and chose the winner of the 24/25 Korev Winter of Waves.
The contest is open to all surf riding including shortboard, longboard, bodyboard and stand up paddleboard.
What can you win?
This virtual event will be open to surfers aged 18 and over from England with prizes for Men’s and Women’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winners (1st place) will come away with a huge £1000 cash prize, plus Korev swag for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

Contest Dates
Surfing England is running this event for Surfing England Members. Waves must be caught in England. We want to see the best surfed waves England has to offer over the winter months.
1. Submission Open’s on the 29th November 2024. Entrants will have 8 weeks to submit their clips. You can submit clips taken between 01/10/2024 and the submission close date.
Register your entry on our website, upload your clips and tag @surfingengland, @korevlager and #korevWOW on Instagram. You can enter more than one submission.
2. Submission closes on the 24th January 2025 at 10:00am.
3. Our Judging panel will then whittle down clips to the stand-outs by the 31st January 2025.
4. Public will then Vote for their favourite clips between the 31st January and 14th February 2025.
5. The top 3 Winners will be Announced between 19th – 21st February 2025.
