2022 could be called The Year Of The Mid-Length. Any opposition to the craft has been blown away by a combination of some of the best surfers in the world shredding on them (Torren Martyn, Mikey February, Asher Pacey et all), and us punters riding them.
A good one might be the most user-friendly, satisfaction-guaranteed board in your quiver; Easy to paddle, easy to turn, and rippable at any size. This clip of Devon Howard at Malibu might be the classiest example of what these boards can do for a surfer.
