Trump’s Fear Of Sharks Sees Donations To Conservation Charities Soar! Conservation charities have received a big boost since Trump was quoted wishing death upon all sharks...

Last week it was revealed by a porn star with whom it is claimed he once had an affair, that the leader of the free world is ‘terrified’ of sharks.

This isn’t the first time that Trump’s dislike for the men in grey suits has been aired. Back in 2013 he felt compelled to announce this to his tens of millions of twitter followers:

Sorry folks, I’m just not a fan of sharks – and don’t worry, they will be around long after we are gone.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 4, 2013

Before quickly clarifying that they were ‘last on [his] list – other than perhaps the losers and haters of the world!”’

In this most recent interview with porn actress Stephanie Clifford, published in In Touch Weekly, the president’s statements reportedly went one step further, as he was quoted to have said that while he supports ‘a lot of charities’ he would ‘never donate to any charity that helps sharks.’ Adding that he hoped  ‘all the sharks die.’

It turns out he also puts his mouth where his mouth is on the matter, having been documented eating shark fin soup at a state dinner in Vietnam last year, where the popularity of the dish is a contributing factor in the deaths of a hundred million sharks each year.

However, since Stephanie told the world about Trump’s fear, shark conservation charities have seen a huge spike in donations in the president’s name, with Princeton Shark Institute reporting that someone has even adopted a thirteen foot Great White shark and called it Trump.

Indeed, academics have theorised that having such an outspoken president, with such divisive views on many contemporary social and environmental issues could actually help stir up more support and awareness for these issues than a more liberal president could manage, even if they tried, and this latest news certainly seems to support such a theory.
