Last weekend we headed to Zarautz to slurp cold beer in the Basque sunshine and sit down with some of surfing’s most interesting characters at the Vans Duct Tape Invitational.
We talked shifting identities with Dane Reynolds, tribalism with Alex Knost and the development of style with Ryan Burch. We captured all the fin first take offs and picture perfect nose rides, watched Lee-Ann Curren play live on a 70’s synth, and got a dispatch from the judging booth from British logging aficionado Joe Davies.
Then, we came home, and bundled it all together for you in a delightfully digestible full screen feature. So grab a beverage, hit open and enjoy our extensive coverage from one of surfing’s most iconic events:
Congratulations Andy Nieblas!
