WATCH: Boat Goes Over The Falls At Giant Nias!

Indo is currently enjoying the swell of the decade, and while the global surf fraternity basks in the glory of endless stand up kegs, for one Nias boat owner, the giant waves have caused a pretty serious headache.

Details are sketchy about how on earth an unmanned boat ended up in the lineup, however once it got their it’s fate was sealed…

“The owner had it anchored for two weeks in the keyhole area leading up to the swells,” photog Daniel Russo told Beachgrit. “There was no one on it and it drifted straight into the impact zone. (The photographer) Chris Bryan was screaming his little lungs out, ‘Best clip of my life!'”

“Some wild seas I tell you,” says Russo.

Wild seas indeed!
