WATCH: Dylan Graves Visits A Nigerian Novelty Wedge Home To A Thriving Surf Community

One of the best episodes of Weird Waves yet!

Luke Gartside

15th January 2020

In episode two the new series of Weird Waves, Dylan Graves and Dane Gudauskas travel to Nigeria to surf a man-made novelty wedge home to a thriving surf community.

As Graves confesses, this ain’t the weirdest wave he’s ever visited, however, the genuine feel-good factor in this ep more than makes up for the slight lack of aquatic peculiarity.

He meets local groms, up and comers and the president of the Nigerian surf association, providing an insightful dispatch from the early stages of the country’s surfing history and cheery-eyed look ahead to its future.
