WATCH: Frederico Morais Scores Perfect Pre-Lockdown Barrels At Home

Portuguese ripper Fred Morais has used his down-time to cut together his best clips from a crazy winter at home....

1st April 2020

Like the rest of us, the majority of the world’s best surfers are currently sat at home twiddling their thumbs.

Some (a surprising number in fact) have used the time to strum a guitar and sing into their phones. Others have spent time throwing a heavy ball around as part of a ramped-up workout regime, while others have just used the time to chill and go fishing.

Portuguese ripper Frederico Morais opted to use his newfound home-bound free time cut together some of his best waves from 2020 so far.

“At a time when the motto is “stay at home”, I decided to release a clip that compiles my best moments “at home” during the months of January and February,” he explained on his insta.

“Over the course of two months, in preparation for the World Tour and Olympic Games 2020, I sought, from north to south of the country, the best conditions to train and overcome the goals I set myself.

Now, returning home early, dictated by the global pandemic, and with a postponed circuit and Olympic Games, I launch a clip whose main objective is to keep my motivation and focus, but also inspire everyone who supports me.”
