The Quiksilver festival is fast becoming one of the biggest celebrations on the surfing calendar and boy, do they do it properly.
Jeremy Flores and Miky Picon originally founded this ten day event after the WSL pulled Hossegor from its world tour schedule – in an attempt to revive and nurture the vibrant surf culture that floods the southwest of France.
Well, they’ve managed to achieve that and some! From the very mouth of Jeremy himself: “The Quiksilver festival is kinda becoming the Woodstock of surfing.”
The Quiky fest now is a staple event on any sane surfers calendar. A collection of elite surfers join together to compete in an all new and refreshing team format event. Alongside them, like minded skaters and artists join together to share stories from all walks of life and send off the summer in true style.
