WATCH: Jobe Harriss Gets Really Barrelled In Cornwall

Bude based Jobe Harriss just dropped an edit from a winter at home featuring him sneaking behind the curtain at some of the south west’s best waves.

Jobe’s story is fairly typical of a UK ripper. It features teenage years spent travelling with stickers all over his board, followed by a good crack at the Pro Juniors and a very brief attempt at the QS, cut short as the sponsorship money dried up. It’s a familiar narrative and not one that looks set to change anytime soon, unless that is, a young Brit can achieve the remarkably rare feat of smashing their first year competing in the big leagues. For context, it took Frederico Morais four, Leo Fiorvanti three and Joan Duru six.

Anyway, Jobe had a pretty cool plan B, setting up an organic vedge farm near his home in Bude, through which he has just sold his first box of produce. If you want to get your hands on some, or follow his green fingered journey, visit his website here.
