Watch: Maxime Huscenot in Breathe

I’m not gonna lie (on this occasion), I maybe haven’t watched every single edit that every pro surfer has put out in recent years, but if any Euro has made a better 20min film than Breathe, I’d like to know about it.

Maxime Huscenot takes us on a very high performance journey through the hollow waveforms of the Canary Islands, Peniche and Hossegor before a closing section in the Maldives that looks so utterly shreddable you’ll wonder why you haven’t been/aren’t there now.

Currently ranked 12th on the QS (with fellow Reunionais Jorgann Couzinet up in second) a solid back half of the season could well see Max nab the qualifying spot he’s been touted for for years.

Finding the time to put together enough sessions in quality waves to make a film this solid, as well as prepping, training and travelling for the Tour is just another reason why some folk call Max the hardest working man in surfing.
