WATCH: Miguel Blanco In ‘The Island Next Door’

Portuguese ripper Miguel Blanco is one of the latest in a long line of European surfers who choose to split their attention between the QS grind and more enjoyable modes of international travel.

In the latter vein, he’s just launched a brand new web series entitled ‘In Luck’, with episode one featuring a free surfing jaunt to an island just across the sea.

Here’s what he had to say about it:

“Born and raised in Portugal, l’ve always had that passion for waves off the radar. This past winter, I started searching for different destinations around the Atlantic. Places that I’ve always thought there had to be waves but never been before.”
