Watch: Reubyn Ash Shreds His Favourite Point During Storm Brian

Here's what Reubyn Ash and Miles Lee Hargreaves got up to at their favourite point break when storm Brian hit.

25th October 2017

Here’s a quick clip featuring Storm Brian making land fall at Reubyn Ash’s favourite point break, with a quick cameo from fellow Bude based shredder Miles Hargreaves.

We’ve already brought you a series of images of what Brian was up to elsewhere in western Europe, and now here’s a bit of coverage from closer to home.

“Forming and increasing in power as it swept across the Atlantic Ocean, intimidatingly named storm, Brian, battered the coasts of Britain on Saturday 21st of October, 2017. With winds of up to 78mph (125km/h) flights were cut and ferries stopped whilst the charts showed forecasts predicting all time swells.” explains film maker Charlie Key. “Unfazed by his menace, Reubyn and Miles were keen to make Brian’s acquaintance and to see if the predictions of mega peelers would hold true.”

Whilst it doesn’t look like a particularly classic day, it’s always nice to watch the boys dodging speed bumps and hitting sections at this fickle brown water point.
