WATCH: Surfing In A Half Frozen Ocean

You've seen the photos, now here's a video clip of people surfing those half frozen slurpee waves:

Luke Gartside

5th January 2018

As the US east coast enjoys pumping waves thanks to a unique low pressure cyclone, named the ‘bombogenesis’, up in Nantucket, Massachusetts the freezing temperatures that proceeded it turned the shallows into slushies.

The beautiful images have been circulating online for a few days, and now a clip has dropped to accompany them and it’s every bit as mesmerising.

If you feel tempted to complain about the cold as you get amongst it this weekend, think of these guys with their frozen hood strings, dodging ice blocks for their wave sliding fix!
