Spring Classic Early Bird Tickets Launch & First Acts Announced

It has been a frosty start to ’22, some fun waves but ice cream headaches aplenty! But optimism is in the air, January is almost over and when the sun sneaks out there’s even a hint of Spring.

So, let’s indulge for a moment and transport ourselves to the day we hang up our wetsuit boots for the last time this season; longer evenings, beach-side beers and good times with good friends…

Sounds good, right? Well, you don’t have to wait for the mercury to rise to get the spring feels, Spring Classic Early Bird tickets are on sale now.

Time to assemble your festival crew for three days of music, surf, skate, custom motorcycles, classic campers, nature trails, yoga, good food and generally bloody good times!

First Music Acts Announced

The first phase of music acts for the Spring Classic have been announced, with Crazy P topping the bill on Saturday night.

The UK dance innovators’ mix of electro, melodies, beats and disco will flow through their now legendary live show, which will go off to a post-sunset backdrop of the North Devon coastline.

Other acts heading to Woolacombe, 27-30 May ’22 include BBC 6 music regulars Porij, Low Island, Far Caspian and Anchorsong, to name a few.

Tokyo born Anchorsong will be joined on stage by a string quartet, adding an extra dimension to his unique live show, in which he creates electronic music entirely live using an MPC1000, right in front of the audience for a genuinely spellbinding show.

Check out the phase one lineup below. There are heaps more acts to be announced, including Friday and Sunday night headliners coming soon. A limited number of Early Bird tickets are available now – get yours here before they fly away!

The Spring Classic lineup has been curated to soundtrack a weekend of good times by the coast, with surfing, skating and ride culture at its core.

The festival is a celebration of the great outdoors in partnership with the National Trust, who will be hosting wildlife talks, bio-blitzes and nature workshops throughout the weekend.

As a sister event to the Blue Earth Summit, creating a sustainably-minded festival that helps to support the National Trust in its mission to restore biodiversity made the partnership a natural fit.

Festival-goers will be able to get active with wild swimming, coastal trail-runs, surfing and yoga to get warmed up before the headliners hit the stage.

Arbor Skateboards, builders of premium skateboards with the smallest possible environmental footprint, will play host to a skate area, offering cash for the best tricks landed during skate jams across the weekend.

With a packed schedule of outdoor action, live music and good times, attendees will need to be well fed to keep energy levels high. BBQ aficionado Conrad Ocker will be on hand to make sure of this, cooking on an open fire and hot smoking meat and veggie feasts throughout the weekend.

Long-time friends of Wavelength, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, are heading to the Woolacombe hilltop to keep attendees refreshed and well-caffeinated.

And as the tunes kick-off and evening draws in, ocean-inspired Mermaid Gin, hand-crafted on the Isle of Wight, will help to get proceedings started in style.

Both Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and Mermaid Gin’s packaging is 100% plastic free and will help the Spring Classic to be proudly single-use plastic free. More brand partners will be announced in coming days and weeks.

A limited number of Early Bird Tickets are on sale now, but with more event features and music acts due to be released in coming weeks, they won’t hang around long! Book your tickets here.

Let the good times roll!
