A Week Of Pumping Waves And Sunny Skies Forecast For SW England & Beyond!

Spring has been off to an excellent start here in the south west and next week it looks like things are set to get even better.

Both weather and wave forecasters are lodging predictions bound to bring a smile to the faces of Devon and Cornwall based surfers, with a run of sunny skies, warm spring temperatures and solid ground swell groomed by favourable winds forecast for next week.

Further afield, the likes of South Wales, Dorset and The Isle of Wight also all look set to enjoy windows of opportunity mid to late next week. And what’s more, it’s not one of those could be couldn’t be swells, with the way it’s currently tracking suggesting a high level of predictably.

Strong winds from the south in the first half of the week will send Devon and Cornwall based surfers scurrying for cover in North facing coves, before the wind swings to SE into Wednesday and Thursday opening up more exposed stretches of coastline. The swell looks set to be solid, peaking on Tuesday and remaining sizeable through Wednesday, before dropping into the fun sized range into Thursday.

Pretty much wherever you are and whatever your level, there’ll be something out there for you next week, so time hang out that wetty, put your gloves back in the shed and get planning. Enjoy!
