Yesterday we brought you the first instalment from Nixon’s ‘The Weird’ UK.

In case you missed it, you can catch the first clip, featuring the shaping element of the day here. Basically, six of Britain’s top shapers were tasked with creating a selection of weird crafts.

There was a finless, an asymmetric, a channel bottom, a twin fin, a single fin and a super short one. Once the build was complete it was time for the boards to be trialled in a competition format. Each craft was randomly assigned to a surfer by the selection of one of Nixon’s ‘The Mission’ multi-coloured watches.

Here’s what went down, featuring a host of Cornish surfers including Alan Stokes, Sam Smart, Jayce Robinson, Sam Lamiroy, Max Hudson, Mike Lay, Jimbo Bennett and more.
