Harry Timson, Alex Botelho And Yael Pena On The North Shore

Volcom have just dropped a brand new clip featuring three of their Euro squad testing their new line of sustainable technical boardies on the North shore.

Filmed over a week during the Hawaiian late season, the clip features Britain’s own Harry Timson, who spent the first few months of the winter in Hawaii, before heading for the west coast of The US. Continually progressing both above the lip, and on the wave face, Harry spends his life on the road, searching for waves with a bit more punch than those that break along his native Cornish coastline (there aren’t to many places around TR7 to practise for a barrel like the one at 2.22).

Harry is joined by Portuguese surfer Alex Botelho, who is perhaps better known for his paddling prowess when heading into giant waves (and that time he casually caught potentially the longest wave ever ridden in Europe) but also has a seriously tuned high-performance game, including rail turns as solid as anyone in Europe.

17 year old Yael Pena from Spain completes the trio. Coming off a win in Europe and a third place finish worldwide at the GromSearch, Yael looks set for big things and with his performance here, we’ve no doubt he’s got a solid career ahead of him both in and out of the contest vest.
