With a balmy looking forecast and the full lineup of films now announced, we can’t wait to welcome you all to the Wavelength Surf Film Festival, lighting up the clifftop overlooking Watergate Bay this Saturday the 4th of September.
As well as the latest and greatest surf cinema on the big screen, we’ll have a fully stocked bar, an assortment of food options including Ansum Sourdough Pizza and The Surfin Gherkin and a live sundown set from DJ Henry Zyda, fresh off a summer of festival performances at Rock Oyster, Boardmasters and more.
Plus, we’re stoked to announce our friends at Arbor will be joining us with their 5-foot mini-ramp on both the 3rd and 4th for an all-day skate session, culminating in a special one-hour jam between 19:00-20:00 on Saturday, with cash for tricks and prizes from Arbor & Wavelength.

It’s an open format and anyone attending the event is welcome to get involved. We’ll also be inviting some of the best local skaters to come up and put on a show for the evening jam.
To get you in the mood we’ll be kicking off the event at 14:00 showing two skate films back to back. First, the latest instalment of Santa Cruz’s ‘Til The End’ series, featuring the whole SC crew and then Arbor Skateboard’s Venice Lines, featuring Greyson Fletcher and Josh Stafford laying it down in the iconic Venice beach bowl.
