Slabbing Irish Perfection From Above

Ireland deservedly received a lot of coverage this winter, with the most clips and shots featuring the regions resident behemoth: Mullaghmore.

However the entire Irish coastline is littered with picture perfect gems, including this one, which breaks just up the road from the aforementioned, and looks absolutely magical when viewed from above.

Irish photographer Gary McCall decided to send his drone up on this particular sunny winters morning as two of the areas local rippers warmed up for a day of massive kegs and heavy beatings. Here’s what he told us about the session:

“Early birds Noah Lane and and Gearoid McDaid catching the rays of the rising sun on a golden morning in Bundoran. The light started to spill over the horizon illuminating each lifting wave and spray perfectly. After this we moved to Mullaghmore for the main show. Footage from both sessions was combined into another edit used for Shore Shots surf film festival.”
