WATCH: Seb Smart, Adrien Toyon & Ainara Aymat Sample Cornwall At Its Most Cornish

A pre-planned Cornish surf trip is always an ambitious shout.

No matter what month of the year you choose, the chances of scoring nothing more than stormy, rippy, jumbled Atlantic chop are always far greater than the chances of getting the sort of waves us hard up full-time dwellers wait all year for. This is particularly true if your destination is way out west, on the little swell battered spit that is the Penwith peninsula. That’s exactly where we find the optimistic protagonists of the latest flick from the crew at Vans, appropriately entitled Full Cornish.

In it, Adrien Toyon and Ainara Aymat make the short hop north across the bay of Biscay, to pay their mate Seb Smart a visit at home. While the waves aren’t up to a whole lot, the crew find other ways to have fun, namely hitting stones into the sea somewhere near lands end, and consuming shit loads of local cuisine at Seb’s family chippy.
