A Mesmerisingly Glassy Empty Slab

As much as we love seeing hell men risking their lives getting whipped in to heaving double overhead waves folding over onto barely submerged rock shelves, there’s something totally serene about watching a slab doing it’s thing totally unmolested. “Everybody knows the famous Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro” says local film maker Pedro Fortes “But only a few know about this treasure.” The treasure he is referring to is this perfect little sheet glass mutant, which he invites us to mind surf, and since most of us probably couldn’t get to our feet quick enough to actually pull in, Pedro has kindly popped it into half speed for us, making both totally mesmerising to watch and totally makable to mind surf (as long as you keep your pop up at full speed):
