An Aerial Perspective On A Crazy Day At Cape Solander A fresh perspective on one of the heaviest and most entertaining waves in the world.

Drones have revolutionised surf cinematography, revealing unique and often never before seen perspectives on some of the world’s most aesthetically interesting waves.

Their deployment at crazy slabs reveal the mechanics of waves in a way that eye level angles never could, showing the shallow slabs of rock that lurk just in front of the take off zone and providing the perfect vantage point of an unsuspecting surfer’s trip over the falls (see 1.06 below).
